Thames Valley Police find shop selling alcohol to under-age children

Police carrying out a test purchasing operation found one shop selling alcohol to a pair of 13-year-old children.

Thames Valley Police’s Pangbourne neighbourhood team carried out the operation with Trading Standards in shops around Pangbourne, Purley and Tilehurst yesterday.

The shop that failed was found selling alcohol to two underage teenagers.

In response, police issued a £90 fine and a licensing report was submitted.
