Kintbury shoplifter David James is sentenced

A shoplifter has been fined and ordered to pay compensation.
David James appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 4.
The 38-year-old, of Gainsborough Avenue, Kintbury, admitted stealing food and alcohol worth £120 from the Co-op in Mortimer on April 8.
He further admitted stealing meat products worth £30 from the same store on April 15.
James, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, was fined £200.
No order was made for costs but James was ordered to pay £75 in compensation plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £80.
