Reading Magistrates' Court: Donnington shoplifter raided health food store

A WOMAN has been ordered to pay more than £70 in compensation after stealing from a health food store.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 21, was Karen Wooldridge.
The 54-year-old, of Donnington Lodge, Oxford Road, Donnington, admitted stealing health food products worth £60.97 from the Holland & Barrett store in Newbury on Wednesday, March 23.
Ms Wooldridge further admitted stealing similar goods, this time worth £14.99 from the same store on Sunday, May 1.
No order was made for costs but she was ordered to compensate the store in full in lieu of an otherwise statutory victim services surcharge.
