Show comes to town today (Saturday)




Thousands are expected at The Royal County of Berkshire Show which takes place over two days

THE BIGGEST event in the West Berkshire calendar rocks Newbury this weekend, as the Royal County of Berkshire Show returns with a line-up of displays and entertainments showcasing the best of rural life.

Thousands are expected to arrive at Newbury Showground in Chieveley for the two day show.

This year's highlights include the Devil's Horsemen Stunt team in the main arena on Saturday and Sunday, the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas who will be performing twice daily in the main arena and the first national show for Dexters on Sunday in the cattle ring.

The Newburytoday.co.uk team will be out and about throughout the weekend.
