Newbury Show returns for 2024 – at Newbury Showground in Chieveley

Save the date – the Newbury Show will be back.

After its successful return in September, the Newbury & District Agricultural Society has announced the dates for the show in 2024.

It will be taking place on September 21 and September 22 next year.

This year’s show – held at Newbury Showground – saw more than 32,000 visitors over the two days.

The 2024 event will showcase all aspects of farming and rural life in the area, including crops, agricultural technology, animals, artisan products, rural education, country pastimes and local produce.

And new for next year will be an Environment and Sustainability area and live farming demonstrations.

A society spokesperson said the show “offers something for all the family, incorporating main ring displays, cookery demonstrations, excellent shopping, an unsurpassed food hall experience, craft marquee, rural crafts, have-a-go activities plus all the traditions of a County Show including agricultural machinery, vintage displays and the hugely popular Grand Parade of Livestock”.

Also returning in 2024 is the Local Producers Area.

Super early bird trade stand bookings are now open, with prices fixed until the end of January.
