Sign up for Peasemore 5K run
The run kicks off at 10:30am on Sunday, September 9 at Peasemore cricket pitch at a cost of £9 for runners affiliated with a running club and £11 for unaffiliated runners.
Entry will be open until 10:15am that morning with an additional charge of £2 for those entering on the day.
Anyone over the age of 15 is eligible to enter, and prizes will be awarded to winning runners in each category.
Organisers are hoping to attract at least 150 runners, with previous years seeing more than 200 taking part.
Living Paintings, based in Kingsclere, provides a free library of Touch to See books for blind and visually impaired adults, young people and children, making wood carvings to tell the story of various books and literature.
Event organiser, Cath Brighton, said: “We like to chose a local charity. We went along and they showed us what they do, its fantastic.”
A refreshment stand serving a selection of drinks and bacon rolls will be available on the day.
