KINTBURY Parish Council is investigating the viability of creating a bike and skateboard facility within the village.

Parish councillor Ruth Kaye has been looking into the possibility of providing such a facility at the Recreation Ground and she presented her findings to a meeting of the parish council last Thursday (December 1).

Parish councillors said they were concerned about the potential noise element of the facility, which they said was dependent on the materials used, while they asked Mrs Kaye to investigate the demand for such a facility among young people in Kintbury.
