Plans under way for new Aldermaston skate ramp

Plans for a concrete skate ramp have been put forward for Aldermaston’s recreation area.

The rec is owned by Aldermaston Parish Council, which last year removed the wooden framed skate ramp which was showing signs of rot.

But residents stepped up and asked the parish council to replace it, while offering help to raise funds for it.

They have also put together a voluntary committee to maintain the ramp.

The application to West Berkshire Council seeks to determine whether the ramp is within permitted development rights.
