New smoothie shop brings taste of India to Newbury Parkway

A new shop promising a special blend of healthy smoothie options and authentic Indian food has opened in Newbury town centre.

Husband and wife duo Sameer and Mayura Kadam, from Newbury, are behind Fresh Juices and More, one of the latest additions to the Parkway Shopping centre.

“We are very passionate about food,” Mrs Kadam told newburytoday.

“My husband prepares excellent dishes and we decided to go for something different.”

Customers are able to buy a range of smoothies, fresh juices, milkshakes as well as Indian delicacies.

Mrs Kadam added: “We are trying to add a few more Indian snacks.

“But the main thing is fresh juice for those searching for healthy options. If they want to try fresh beetroot or fresh carrot juice, they can come to us.”

Their unit is based at 72-73 Parkway Shopping centre, opposite Next, where The Sweet Box café used to be.
