Snow has fallen in West Berkshire

This picture, taken by NWN reader Sarah Spink, shows snow in East Ilsley this afternoon, while other small flurries have been reported in Newbury, Thatcham, Yattendon and Tilehurst.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of snow for the south east from 3pm today until 11am tomorrow, saying that 1 to 2 cm may settle almost anywhere, especially from late afternoon today and into this evening.
It says that while most areas are unlikely to see large amounts of snow, showers during this afternoon and evening are expected to fall increasingly as sleet, show and hail.
The Met Office also warned that a more persistent spell of rain, sleet and and snow may affect the west and south of the yellow area during the early hours of Friday morning and told the public to be aware of the risk of some travel disruption and difficult driving conditions.
And there may be more to come - with further snow predicted between 1.15am on Sunday until 23.45pm on Monday.
