"So cool", tweets Zoes hero Slash
Zoe Thomson, of Ashmore Green Road, the lead guitarist of the Mini Band, has just received the biggest endorsement of her young rock ’n’ roll life.
In a tweet dated April 18, Slash said: “Leslie West sent this 2 me today. So cool. I’m speechless. iiii]; )'”
Attached was a video of Zoe playing Sweet Child O’ Mine as a seven-year-old.
The message prompted people all over the world to comment on Zoe's video.
One replied to Slash, saying “She may be better than you :D” and another said: “little Zoe is very talented! She'll become a great guitarist ;)”
Mini Band manager Leo Westby said that the Tweet had reignited a video that was filmed and posted a while ago.
He said: “It has caused a bit of a stir. He is one of her heroes so she thought it was absolutely brilliant.
“Slash is a household name so it’s brilliant to get his approval.”
