All2gether will hold peaceful march through Newbury at 10.30am

West Berkshire residents are set to march the streets of Newbury this morning (Saturday) in a show of solidarity following the Paris attacks which left at least 129 people dead last week.

The peaceful march, organised by Newbury-based ethnic minority group All2gether, takes place today at 10.30am starting at the Clock Tower at Northbrook Street, and all are welcome to attend.

Explaining the reasoning behind the event the organisation said: “What happened in Paris is deplorable, and at this time we should also reflect on the millions of lives affected in political and economic wars in recent years.

“You are welcome to join us in this peaceful march sharing the belief that hatred will not divide us.”
