PP Arnold comes to Arlington Arts

Soul singer PP Arnold comes to Arlington Arts on Saturday, June 25 as part of her first solo tour in many years.

Born into a family of Gospel singers, PP Arnold began her singing career as an Ikette with Ike and Tina Turner. She came to London with them to tour with the Rolling Stones in the mid-sixties and began her solo career as the first female artist on the Immediate record label under the supervision of Andrew Oldham and Mick Jagger. Her first single The First Cut is The Deepest, penned by Cat Stevens, is a soul classic and her unique voice has been produced by some of the most influential artists of our time.
