Speen's fete entertains visitors from across West Berkshire

Friends and residents of Speen were drawn together for the community's fete on Saturday, which featured a range of traditional attractions and activities.
The event, staged at Speen Recreation Ground, ran through Saturday afternoon, with Watership Brass providing a musical accompaniment to the day.
Children were entertained by games, bouncy castles and a vintage merry-go-round, while broader appeal was offered by a birds of prey display, barbecue and Morris troupe show.
The raffle - boasting a grand prize of £150 - benefited the organisers, the Newbury branch of the Lions International.
