Spending a penny costs man £100

In the dock last Thursday was 39-year-old Roy Anthony Mace, of Cormorant Wood, Newbury.
Claire French, prosecuting, said that Mr Mace had been spotted walking along Park Way at 11.45pm by CCTV operators, before he urinated in the booth, prompting police to arrest him. He admitted behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on November 29.
Magistrates fined him £80 with a £20 surcharge.
