Harry spot-on as Hungerford win again

Hungerford Town 2 Chesham Utd 0
TWO spot kicks from substitute Harry Goodger cemented Hungerford’s fourth place in the Evo Stick League Southern table and edged them even closer to an end of season play-off spot to gain promotion to the Conference.
Goodger replaced top scorer and skipper Mark Draycott on the hour mark and seven minutes later grabbed the responsibility for scoring from the spot when Alan O’Brien was bundled over in the box by defender Robbie Cundy and he blasted is side into the lead.
It was again O’Brien who was the instgator of the second penalty when he was sent away by James Pilling and this time last man Ashley Smith dragged him back and was promptly sent off before Goodger kept his nerve to send his kick to the opposite side.
Chesham had played some neat football throughout, but their composure went after that and Hungerford were able to sit out the remainder of the game.
The results gives them a three-point cushion over fifth-placed St. Neots Town , who were held to a 1-1 draw at Dorchester, while the team in sixth place - Weymouth - crashed 3-0 at bottom of the table Banbury United.
