TADLEY got off the mark and gained a measure of revenge for Romsey snatching a late point off them at the business end of last season with Saturday’s ultimately comfortable Sydenhams Wessex League One win.

Pipped by a point last season, Tadley won with goals from Andrew Charsley, Dave Morgan and prolific marksman Brett Denham with Jordan Prince replying for the home side.

Tadley now have a blank midweek before kicking off matters at home when they entertain Combined Counties League Guildford City in the FA Cup’s Extra Preliminary Round at Barlows Park on Saturday.
