Netball girls in the pink for charity
Cancer Research to be benefit from Sunday morning colour
THE Newbury Netball League will again be going pink on Sunday as it takes part in its third NET10 for Life event on Sunday.
NET10 runs until March 13, when all participating matches played around the country will raise money from goals scored.
The Newbury League’s matches at Kennet School will see players displaying as much pink as possible via socks, dresses, under t-shirts, headbands and hairbands and umpires will follow suit.
England netball has also provied pink laces which will be sold at £2 a pair, with all proceeds going to the charity with a national target of £15,000.
Matches at Kennet will take place over two sessions starting at 9.30 and 11am and spectators are welcome to support - and donate.
