Tadley's Hythe date washed out in advance this time

Chance to rise to third scotched after pitch inspection

TADLEY CALLEVA have been denied the chance of a quick double after tonight's (Tuesday) scheduled Sydenhams Wessex League game at Hythe and Dibden was called off after an afternoon pitch inspection.

This is the third time that Tadley have had an aborted fixture at Hythe. An earlier postponement as followed by an abandonment last month, forcing this rearranged date.

The teams did play at Barlows Park on Saturday however, when Tadley stormed to a 5-0 win with James Tennant netting a hat-trick and Scott Kinge and Andrew Charsley the other goals as Tadley rose to fourth spot in the Division One table with third beckoning for a win at Hythe.
