Make way for the strong ones!

MORE than 30 of the south’s strongest women will be bidding for a place in England’s Strongest Women Championships final when they flex their muscles on Sunday at Tadley’s Optimal Health and Performance centre.

The centre at the Ash Park Business Centre in Ash Lane at Little London will be staging the Southern Qualifier, starting at 11.30am on Sunday, when competitors will embark upon a gruelling test of strength.

They will compte over five events in weight under 63 kilo, under 82 kilo and open groups, with discipliones covering ‘Max Effort Log,’ ‘Yoke to Farmers Walk,’ ‘Deadlift for Reps,’ Medley of tyre flip, duck walk, keg and stone, and ‘Keg Over Yoke for Reps.’

A number of England's strongman competitors will also be attending and entry is £2.
