SSEN fixing power disruptions at Aldermaston

Engineers are en route to Aldermaston after recent power faults have caused disruption in the area.

SSEN hope to resolve the issue by 5pm today (Wednesday).

The company released the following statement.

"Our engineers are on site investigating a fault on our Main Network. We would hope to have the majority of supplies restored by 5pm," said a spokesperson.

"We do this by switching our Network on in stages; this allows us to restore as many customers as possible whilst narrowing down the cause of the fault.

"If we identify a fault to our equipment, the power may be off for longer, however we will keep you up to date with our progress."
