'Staffy' seeking outdoor life in new home

Young dog with big fan club loves great outdoors

A ‘STAFFY’ with a friend-winning smile is seeking an outdoor life in a new home.

Meet Peggy, a three-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is hoping to find a dream home to call her own.

Jenny Hopkins, assistant manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, says:

“Peggy is a wonderful girl with a fabulous smile who makes so many friends wherever she goes. She can be shy when she meets new people so potential new owners will need to visit a few times to build up a bond with her before she can embark on the journey to her forever home. Once she gets to know you, she adores human company and is never happier than when she’s getting lots of cuddles from her carers.”

“This adorable lady would like a home with new owners to be around for most of the time to keep her company and take her out on lots of walks. Peggy loves being outdoors so a secure garden is essential and she would like to be the only pet in the home so she can have her new best friends all to herself. She’s currently enjoying some home comforts on a foster home so please call ahead to arrange a visit if you’re interested in meeting her.”

Do you think you could give Peggy the happy home she deserves? Please call the staff at Dogs Trust Newbury to arrange a visit on 0300 303 0292.
