Nationwide match funds Be Yoga Ukraine session in Stockcross pushing donation total over £1,600




A yoga session in Stockcross on Sunday, April 10, raised more than £1,680 for the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

Yoga for Ukraine, ran by Beth Trotter of Be Yoga, raised £665, which was match funded by Nationwide, bringing the donation up to £1,330.

Vodafone also donated £350 to the cause, bringing the donation total up further to £1,680.

Ms Trotter said: “I would like to thank all who attended as well as those that couldn’t make it who made donations.

"I also want to thank Carolyn Lawrence and Viv Lovell who raised £50 through the sale of their hand-knitted Easter animals.

"Finally, I want to thank Mark Nevitt at Sutton Hall, Stockcross for letting us use the hall for free."
