Weather warning for wind issued for West Berkshire as Storm Isha sweeps the UK




A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued for West Berkshire.

The Met Office has warned of strong winds on Sunday (January 21) and Monday (January 22) as Storm Isha sweeps the country.

The storm may bring disruption to travel and utilities.

The Met Office said there may be some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs.

Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage

And some roads and bridges may close.

Rail services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible
