String of burglaries in Newbury last week
There have been a series of burglaries in Newbury.
Police say offenders gained access to a property in Priory Road on Friday, November 10 between 1pm and 9.15pm.
They gained access by forcing a porch door.
TVP said a “messy search” was carried out and jewellery was stolen.

There was another burglary in Priory Road on the same day (November 10) between 4.20pm and 10.30pm.
Offender(s) gained access by smashing a rear window pane.
TVP said another messy search was carried out.
It has not said the incidents were linked.

Access to a property in Walton Way was gained by offender(s) on the same day (November 10) between 7.40pm and 10.45pm.
TVP said offender(s) removed a pane of glass from the conservatory door of the property.

Power tools were stolen from a property in Spencer Road on Friday night.
The incident occurred between 5.40pm on Friday, November 10 and 10.10am the next morning (Saturday, November 11).
TVP said offender(s) gained access by forcing the back door.
A messy search was carried out and Makita power tools were stolen.
