String of Hungerford shed thefts sparks police appeal





A leaf blower was stolen from a padlocked shed at a property in Salisbury Road between Sunday, November 24 and Tuesday, November 26.
Offenders also lifted two hedge trimmers and a brushwood cutter after forcing their way into a Salisbury Road shed between 8pm and 10pm on Saturday, November 23 and November 24.
Some of the items were found in a neighbours garden and police believe that the offenders made off towards Lancaster Road.
Offenders also tried to force their way in to a shed at a property in Salisbury Road on November 22 and 23.
PCSO, Joanna King, said: “We believe the offenders gained access to the gardens of the properties via the back fences.
“We would like to hear from anyone that may have been in the area at the time of these incidents and may have seen anything suspicious to please contact the police via the 101 number.”
