A guided walk through Greenham and Crookham Commons is being held today (Saturday) by a local wildlife trust

A WILDLIFE trust is holding a guided walk through Greenham and Crookham Commons today (Saturday).

Hosted by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxford Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), which manages wildlife on the common, the last walk of the season will take place from 10am until noon, highlighting birds and animals found on the common.

BBOWT warden Elliot Lea said: “A particular highlight for me has been showing an avid bird watcher of many years his first ever Dartford warbler”.

The walk is free and no booking is necessary. It will start from the Control Tower car park off Bury's Bank Road at 10am.
