Strong winds expected in West Berkshire and North Hampshire tomorrow as Storm Isha sweeps UK




Strong winds are expected to sweep West Berkshire and North Hampshire tomorrow (Sunday).

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for tomorrow (January 21) and Monday (January 22).

Storm Isha is set to sweep the country for the next two days with an extended weather warning for the north and the midlands on Tuesday (January 23) and Wednesday (January 24).

The storm may bring disruption to travel and utilities.

The Met Office said there may be some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs.

Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.

And some roads and bridges may close.

Rail services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible.

Elsewhere, amber warnings for wind and yellow warnings for rain have been issued.
