During their visit, students toured the solemn grounds of Auschwitz and Birkenau, which helped them gain an insight into the events of the Holocaust.

The school said the immersive experience provided them with a deeper understanding of the historical significance and human impact of these tragic events.

The students went on to hear the testimony of a holocaust survivor and engaged in outreach work, sharing their experiences with others in the community.

Kennet School said it is committed to providing its students with meaningful learning opportunities, promoting empathy, understanding and remembrance.
