Stunning reception to thank NWN Best in Business Awards 2024/25 sponsors and winners at The Post Barn, Donnington Valley
The Newbury Weekly News hosted a reception this week to thank the winners and sponsors of the NWN Best in Business Awards.
It was held in the stunning setting of The Post Barn luxury wedding venue at Donnington Valley on Tuesday afternoon.
Guests enjoyed drinks and canapes as they mingled in the sunshine and chatted to other successful businesspeople.
NWN editor Andy Murrill said: “We couldn’t have asked for more glorious weather as we thanked our wonderful sponsors Apple Print & Creative, Newbury Business Improvement District, Parkway Shopping, Jones Robinson, Special Auction Services, Heritage Estate Planning, Newbury Racecourse and West Berkshire Training Consortium for their support in making the awards such a success.
“And it was fantastic to be able to congratulate our worthy winners once more.
“Their successful efforts help to make our local economy so resilient.
“I was particularly pleased to see our Charity of the Year, Digitall, because the generosity of our guests at the awards evening ensured that we could present it with more than £2,600 raised through our silent auction, heads and tails game and table collections.
“That is a fantastic legacy from the NWN Best in Business Awards as it will help young people in deprived parts of West Berkshire to learn to code, equipping them with the digital skills we need for a prosperous future.”
