Suggestions sought for Thatcham pub name change

THE landlords at the Mill House Inn are asking Thatcham people to help come up with a new name for the pub.

Gemma McDonald and Geoff Minter took over the pub in Bradley-Moore Square at the end of December and want to rebrand it.

They said that because they were new to the area they thought it would be nice if locals came up with the name, and hoped that it would have a historical reference.

Ms McDonald said: “A brand new image is what it needs.

“People can come up with any suggestion and it will be nice to hear how people came up with their idea.

“It would be nice if there was some kind of reason or something that makes it relevant.”
