Summer Spectacular in Thatcham today (Saturday)

The Summer Spectacular, a day packed with activities, will raise funds not only for the two organisations but also for the Newbury and District Cancer Care Trust.
It will be held at the Moorside Community Centre, in Urquhart Road, from 12pm until 4pm today (Saturday).
Visitors to the fair, which has free entrance, will be able to see demonstrations of aerobics, cheerleading, martial arts, street dancing, dog agility and falconry.
There will also be a football tournament, a penalty shoot out, a climbing wall, archery, table tennis and badminton and an inflatable assault course as well as stalls to browse through, a car boot sale and competitions to take part in.
Stacey Williams, the headteacher at The Reintegration Service, which works with children and young adults from five to 16-years-old who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from schools, said: “As part of our process we want our students to feel part of the community.”
All are welcome to attend.
