Supplier Roller Kings steps in to save Thatcham Youth roller skating disco

Thatcham Youth is bringing back its roller skating disco.

The event started in 2014 but had to stop briefly earlier this year due to problems sourcing a skate provider.

But Thatcham Youth has since partnered with supplier Roller Kings and put its disco nights back on the cards.

The first roller disco will fall on October 7 (Saturday) followed by November 11 and December 9 at Kennet Leisure Centre.

Thatcham Youth chairman Dave Carter said: “We are ecstatic that we can bring this much loved activity back to the residents of Thatcham and surrounding areas, and even more so that we have a local provider from Newbury.”

The Roller Discos are open to both children and adults.

Tickets are £5 per person and available at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/thatcham-youth

Thatcham Youth said tickets regularly sell out and urges people to buy in advance.

Timings are 3.30pm - 4.45pm and 5pm - 6.15pm.
