Winter warmer at Living Rainforest in Hampstead Norreys

The Living Rainforest at Hampstead Norreys has launched a crowd funding campaign to support struggling local schools and residents and to ensure a warm winter for its rare animals and plants.

With rising energy costs, educational visits to the tropical education centre are under threat.

There are four ways the public can help support school trips along with the flora and fauna at the centre.

1) Winter passes for local residents. The centre wants to provide a warm space this winter for local residents in need. A winter pass will enable those unable to heat their homes to access the Living Rainforest over the winter period.

2) Subsidised visits for schools whose budgets would not allow visits to go ahead this school year. You can help cover the costs for a group of up to 17 school children.

3) Provide a warm home for Cinnamon the sloth and her fellow rainforest residents. Contribute to the centre's heating costs for a month to receive an animal adoption pack and an annual family ticket to the Living Rainforest.

4) Provide matching funds from local Thames Valley businesses.
