Suspected arson attack on motorbike in Newbury underpass

Newbury fire station sent one vehicle to an underpass near the A339 and Howard Road at 3.45am following reports of a fire.
A crew took 45 minutes to douse the flames, but the bike was already charred and in ruins upon their arrival.
The manager of Blue Watch, Richard Young, said it was believed the blaze was started deliberately.
Thames Valley Police are now investigating the incident.
No persons were injured.
