Tadley couple robbed and assaulted
Police seek information after robbers force their way into home of Tadley couple
JEWELLERY and cash have been stolen from a Tadley couple, after robbers forced their way into their home and assaulted them on Wednesday night (May 25).
According to Hampshire police, sometime between 10.30pm and 11pm, on Wednesday May 25, a couple were at home in Stevens Road when three men forced their way into the address.
They threatened them and used violence on the man, before stealing a quantity of cash and jewellery.
The man suffered minor injuries to the side of his face and his left knee.
Detectives have released descriptions of the three men.
The first was described as: white, skinny, aged 20 to 25, around 5ft 10ins to 6ft. He had dark eyes and bushy eyebrows and was wearing a dark hooded top
The second man was described as: white, of stocky build, aged 30 to 40, around 5ft 9ins. He also had unshaven, fair stubble and was wearing a short sleeved light blue top
The third man was described as: white, around 5ft 7ins, aged 18 to 20, and very young looking. He was wearing a jumper pulled up and a baseball cap pulled down over his face
Dc Natalie Stallworthy said: “Although this was a very serious incident, it is also very rare and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen these three men in the area on Wednesday night, or knows who they are, to get in touch.”
