Tadley family traumatised by burglary




Family return from holiday to find valuable items stolen including £10,000 jewellery

A TADLEY family have been traumatised after returning from holiday to find their home burgled.

Many valuable items were stolen, including jewellery worth more than £10,000.

The incident happened sometime between Wednesday, June 29 and Sunday, July 6 in Franklin Avenue while the owners were on holiday.

Mobile phones, digital cameras, laptops, games consoles, power tools, cash and jewellery were stolen.

Pc David Cook said: “This family returned home from holiday to the trauma of finding their home had been burgled, as well as the loss of several irreplaceable items of jewellery which have great sentimental value.

“This burglary happened near to a busy parade of shops on a main route through the town, and it is possible that somebody may have seen something suspicious. If you did, please get in touch.”
