Motorcyclist died following a collision in Streatley
A POLICE appeal has been launched after a motorcyclist was killed in Streatley yesterday (Sunday).
Police were called to the Wallingford Road after a white Suzuki motorcycle and a silver BMW 330 estate were involved in a collision at around 2.43pm.
The 52-year-old motorcyclist, from Tadley, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the BMW suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Senior investigating officer, PC Gareth Miles said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen a Suzuki motorcycle travelling towards Streatley or a silver BMW 330 estate travelling towards Wallingford before the collision to contact police.
"If you witnessed the collision or have any information please contact police via the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101 quoting URN 755 of 23/10.
"If you don't want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court."
