Tadley racial abuse incident triggers appeal for information





According to Hampshire Constabulary, the 36-year-old woman was walking towards the park at the end of Stephens Road at about 5.30pm, when she saw two boys walking in front of her. They came from the Giles Road direction.
The boys played on the swings , while she and her young son were near the climbing frame. They then started to racially abuse her.
The boys were described as aged between nine and 11, white, one was of a slim build with ginger hair and the other was of a large build and had brown hair.
Both were wearing grey trousers. The slim boy had a white t-shirt and the larger boy was wearing a dark-coloured long-sleeved top.
Pc Steve Eadsforth said: “It is believed there was a large group of youths in the park at the time, some of whom may have seen this incident.
“This was very distressing for the victim, so please contact me if you know anything. Equally, please speak to your children and ask if they know or may have seen anything.”
