Trust chairwoman, Hazel Tilbury, said over the last three years, the trust had seen a “steady increase” she said in visitors to leisure facilities it managed and continued:

We assist by offering a variety of tailored workout classes, gym equipment and swim sessions to suit all ages and abilities, including disabled visitors.”
Sport England Property Director, Charles Johnston, added the investment will ensure the people of the borough of Basingstoke and Deane would be able to develop a sporting habit for life in a “First-class, environmentally friendly sports facility,” he said.
