Artificial intelligence talk by expert taking place at Wickham Church
A talk on artificial intelligence by an industry expert is taking place at Wickham Church on Friday evening.
John Handby, a chartered fellow of the British Computer Society, liveryman of the City of London and the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, and a fellow of the RSA, will be discussing the future impact of AI on society.
His talk will focus on the possibilities artificial intelligence could provide, and how the pace of change will rapidly increase in the coming years as technology and research begin to break new ground.
There will be a reception beforehand at 6.30pm, with the talk beginning at 7pm with questions afterwards.
Tickets are £15 per person with all the money raised going to the Friends of Wickham Church to help with the church’s maintenance. Those who wish to attend should contact fowc22@gmail.com
Mr Handby regularly gives lectures on the emerging field of artificial intelligence and its sociological implications.
