Tarrants Hill in Hungerford is closed

A TOWN road closure has been announced.

Tarrants Hill in Hungerford will be closed from today (Tuesday, December 31) until Monday, January 6.

The closure will be between the junction with the A338 Salisbury Road to the junction with Morley Place.

The reason for the closure will be for Wales and West Utilities to trace and repair a gas leak.

Residential and emergency services access will be maintained “wherever possible,” according to West Berkshire Council’s highways department.
