One of the event organisers said: “Everyone who attended had a wonderful day out.”

Two trains were running for a full five hours, one being a steam locomotive which remained in steam for most of the day and the other being a class 66 diesel locomotive.

Besides the attraction of the trains, there were best dressed teddy bear, colouring and solve the riddle competitions along with cookie decorating, side stalls, a bar, barbecue and a cake stall selling all homemade baked goods.
