Teenager Oliver Frain, from Thatcham, accused of assaulting four people
A teenager is to go on trial, accused of assaulting four people.
Oliver Frain appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 17.
The 18-year-old from Thatcham, said to be currently of no fixed address, is accused of assaulting Lony Reat by beating him.
He then faces three charges of assaulting a police officer in the execution of their duty.
All the above offences were said to have happened in Reading on Friday, May 16.
Mr Frain, who was legally represented by Martin Hennessy, spoke only to confirm his details and to plead not guilty to all four charges.
He was told the case could proceed no further that day and that it would be adjourned for a trial to be arranged.
Mr Frain was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
