Reading Magistrates' Court: Thatcham teenager charged with causing grievous bodily harm
A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent in The Broadway in Thatcham.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 19, was Corey Braybrooke.
The 18-year-old, who lives in Park Avenue, Thatcham, has been accused of maliciously wounding Eivas Mockaitis with intent to do him grievous bodily harm on Sunday, February 16 last year.
Mr Braybrooke, who spoke only to confirm his details, was told that the charge was so serious it could only be heard by a crown court judge and, in the event of a trial taking place, by a jury.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled to be heard at Reading Crown Court and Mr Braybrooke was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
