Brightwalton teen William Fitt had knuckleduster in Newbury car park




A TEENAGER was caught with a knuckleduster in public.

William Fitt appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 24.

The 18-year-old, of Ash Close, Brightwalton, admitted possessing the offensive weapon in the West Street car park in Nerwbury on Sunday, May 5.

Mr Fitt, who was legally represented by Robert Jacques, was made subject to a 12-month community order with a requirement that he completes 60 hours of unpaid community work.

In addition, district judge Samuel Goozee ordered Mr Fitt to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £114.
