Police investigating calls made to emergency services between August 2014 and September 2015

A 15-year-old boy from Thatcham has been arrested in connection with 60 hoax calls made to the emergency services.

Thames Valley Police officers arrested the boy on Sunday, September 20, on suspicion of causing a public nuisance by making hoax calls to emergency services.

He has been bailed until October 1.

Police are investigating about 60 calls to all three emergency services – fire, police and ambulance – between 23 August 2014 and 14 September 2015.

They include false reports of fires, fights, burglaries and medical incidents.
