Teenager robbed in Thatcham on Saturday evening

The 16-year-old was robbed by three men in Bluecoats who stole her keys

A TEENAGE girl was robbed by three men in Thatcham on Saturday evening.

The 16-year-old girl was walking down an alleyway off Bluecoats when the incident happened at about 6.40pm.

When she walked past the men, one of them grabbed the keys that were in her hand but she managed ton keep hold of her handbag before running off after the attack.

The man who stole her keys is described as white, about 20-year-old, about 5ft 10inchs tall, slim, with thick dark hair and a spotty complexion.

He was wearing a mustard yellow t-shirt and a black hooded top.

Pc Jonathan Smith from Newbury police station, said: “I have a feeling that the other two men might not have known what the man was planning to do and I urge them to come forward."
