Cars travelling westbound towards Thatcham are currently backed up towards Woolhampton, and eastbound traffic is jammed up from Thatcham High Street onwards.

The traffic is reportedly creating delays of up to 20 minutes.

The traffic signals, which came into operation this morning, are expected to remain for 11 days until 5pm on Sunday, December 1.
