Ten years of Ofsted success for Prior's Court

The latest Ofsted report has praised Prior's Court, a Hermitage facility dedicated to the education of autistic young people, for the quality of its care.

This marks the 10th consecutive year in which Prior's Court has received a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' rating from the regulator.

The report states: "Children's needs are understood, and responded to, by the dedicated, warm and compassionate staff team.

"Observations of practice during the inspection, and comments from professionals and parents, demonstrate the high regard for the staff's care of their children."

Prior's Court's director of young people's wellbeing Sarah Butcher said: "This is a hugely positive report, which is a notable achievement given the challenges Covid-19 has posed for the whole sector."
